FRIULI I – UDINE AND SPILIMBERGO

After numerous cancellations and reschedules, we were finally able to return to Eastern Europe in September, 2022 and join Shannon Essa of Grapehops Tours (Grapehops.com) for another spectacular wine tour. On this trip, we visited Slovenia and Friuli in northeastern Italy. The images in this gallery were taken in Udine, the former capital of Friuli and Spilimbergo where we visited the Schuola Mosaicisti del Friuli – a famous school dedicated to teaching mosaic art.
