CABO PULMO
Cabo Pulmo Park is located on the Sea of Cortez, 60 miles north of Los Cabos. The beaches there surround a shallow bay with one of three living reefs (the only hard coral reef) in North America. In 1998, the offshore waters of Cabo Pulmo were designated a National Marine Park by the Mexican government. Since that time, it is estimated that fish life has increased over 500%. We explored this splendid location in October, 2013 and October, 2017.
