EASTERN PACIFIC

The Eastern Pacific offers wonderful tourism destinations. In March, 1999 we explored one of the most unique locales - the Galapagos Islands. Traveling on the Lammer Law, we observed many of the endemic species studied by Charles Darwin. This incredible destination has been recognized as a marine reserve and a World Heritage Site. Two years later, we traveled on the Solmar and dove in the Sea of Cortez - another Eastern Pacific World Heritage site. The plankton-rich currents of the Pacific enter these sheltered waters and support whale sharks, dolphins, manta rays, and schools of sharks, as well as over 5000 species of macro-invertebrates. The images in this gallery document these two special trips.
