KIMBE BAY
Kimbe Bay is a large bay off the northern coast of New Britain, Papua New Guinea. This remarkable site offers remarkably rich biodiversity: 60 percent of all Indo-Pacific coral species can be found here. In addition, Kimbe Bay is also the home to more than 860 coral reef fish species. We explored this wonderful underwater location from the Febrina in 2003.
