ITALY

Prior to a return trip to Croatia in 2018, we spent a week in Italy – five days in Florence and two in Padua. Visits to many of Florence’s gems – the Duoma and its museum, the Uffizi Gallery, Galleria dell Accademia, Bargello Museum, Baptistery, Medici Chapel, Pitti Palace, Palazzo Vecchio, Galileo Museum, Santa Croce Church, and Fiezole – afforded lovely images. Two days in Padua allowed us to visit the Basilica of St. Anthony and Scrovegni Chapel before traveling on to Croatia.
