PAPUA NEW GUINEA 2023 III – FATHERS REEFS
In May, 2023 we were finally able to return to one of our favorite dive destinations – Papua New Guinea’s New Britain Island – to dive in the Bismarck Sea on the M.V.Oceania. The images in this gallery were taken at the end of our trip when we spent several days diving at Fathers Reefs, a series of offshore volcanic reefs. The area offers dramatic reefscapes, arches, and swim-throughs. Sites we visited included Killibob Knob, Norman’s Reef, The Arch, Leslie’s Reef, Jayne’s Gulley, Jackie’s Reef, and Bradford Shoal.
